Stericool’s state of the art plasma technology utilizes dynamic high frequency and load matching in order to provide a more effective plasma sterilization enabling shorter operations cycles. Stericool features an on-board computer which continuously manages the vacuum pressure, gas injection, H202 diffusion, door-lock and plasma quality from outside the chamber, via a network of actuators and sensors. This data is displayed graphically on a touch-screen display together with information on the current sterilization stage, duration, vacuum pressure and temperature. Stericool units feature three fully automated sterilization programs for flexibility. One-button operation increases user productivity. The Standard Program (P2) readily addresses your facility’s most common sterilization requirements. The operator may also select the Short Program (P1) to benefit from shorter sterilization times or the Intense Program (P3) for longer lumens or complicated sterilization loads. The sterilization programs can be tailored for the end-users specific needs; for example Stericool’s engineering team has optimized the sterilization process for use in tissue engineering applications. In the case of an operational error (e.g. the detection of excess cellulose) the inbuilt intelligence is equipped to take precautionary steps including: a systematic abort, an audio/visual alarm and an onscreen diagnostic read out. Further, the device’s management software designed to remind the user of imminent service expiration, run self-diagnostics and can store a 10 year log of all recorded activates, transferable via USB, SD memory card or network. Stericool is designed to be mobile and can be easily integrated into any healthcare unit as it only requires a power connection (220 VAC 50 Hz 16 A) and no water source/drainage, ventilation or mounting and it does not have any toxic waste.
